Privacy Policy

GeekLabs (a sole trader) is the data controller for QReasy. This policy explains what we collect and why. For any privacy request, contact support@qreasy.app.
What we collect
- Your email — provided at checkout and to sign in to your dashboard.
- Purchase records — pack, amount, and currency. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Your codes — the labels, destinations, and styling you create.
- Scan analytics — when a code is scanned we record the time, an approximate country derived from the request, a coarse device type, and the referring page. We do not store full IP addresses.
- Anonymous static-code usage — free static codes are made in your browser and we don’t store their content. To understand what the free tool is used for, we keep an anonymous, aggregate tally of each code’s type (link, Wi-Fi, contact, etc.) and, for link codes only, the destination domain (the host, e.g. example.com — never the full URL). We never record Wi-Fi passwords, contact details, or any other code content, and this data isn’t linked to you.
Why, and our legal bases
We use this data to provide the service and your dashboard (performance of our contract with you), to keep basic scan counts and prevent abuse of the redirect network (our legitimate interests), and to meet legal and accounting obligations.
Cookies
We use essential cookies needed to keep you signed in. We also use Google Ads, which sets advertising and measurement cookies to understand how people find QReasy and whether our ads lead to purchases. These non-essential cookies are turned off by default and only used if you accept them via our cookie banner (we use Google Consent Mode, so nothing advertising-related loads until you consent). You can decline, and you can change your mind later by clearing the choice in your browser. We never sell your data.
Who we share it with
We use trusted processors to run the service: Stripe (payments), Clerk (sign-in), Neon (database), Vercel (hosting), Resend (transactional email), Google Safe Browsing (screening destination links), and Google Ads (advertising measurement, only with your consent). Some are based outside the UK/EU; transfers rely on appropriate safeguards. We never sell your data.
Retention & your rights
We keep your account, codes, and their scan history while your codes are active, and purchase records as long as the law requires. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and may object to certain processing — email us and we will respond. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
